Bybit WSOT 2026 Spot Trading Volume Leaderboard Opens Today, With Up to 400 Traders Sharing a Prize Pool of Up to 1 Million USDT
Bybit’s WSOT 2026 Global Asset Competition spot trading volume leaderboard is scheduled to open on November 5 at 6:00 p.m. Beijing time and run until November 26 at 6:00 p.m. Beijing time. Up to 400 eligible traders can share a prize pool of up to 1,000,000 USDT.
The competition ranks participants by cumulative qualifying trading volume, rather than by investment returns. Eligible activity includes cryptocurrency spot trades and, where applicable, Bybit stock trades. Traders should check the event terms on Bybit before registering, as task requirements and other participation rules may apply.

The stated prize pool is a maximum, not a guarantee that the full amount will be distributed. Traders should review the event page for the applicable reward conditions and payout structure.
How the Trading Volume Leaderboard Works
The leaderboard measures the total value of a participant’s qualifying trades during the competition. Trading activity in eligible cryptocurrency spot pairs counts toward the ranking, as does qualifying Bybit stock trading where applicable.
A higher trading volume does not necessarily mean a trader has made a profit. Frequent buying and selling can increase reported volume while also generating fees, slippage and potential trading losses. Zero-fee trading pairs are excluded from the event’s volume calculation, so participants should verify which markets qualify before placing trades.
Who Can Participate?
The activity is limited to users with a Unified Trading Account (UTA). Both main accounts and subaccounts can participate, with each user allowed to register no more than one main account and six subaccounts.
The following users are not eligible:
- Market makers
- Institutional users
- Users at Pro 3 level or above
Account eligibility and registration requirements can affect whether trading activity is counted. Participants should confirm their status and check the detailed terms before the event begins.
What Traders Should Consider Before Joining
Volume-based competitions create a different incentive from a typical investment strategy: traders are rewarded for qualifying activity and leaderboard placement, not necessarily for profitable decisions. Before increasing trading activity, consider the following:
- Trading costs: Fees and slippage can accumulate across repeated transactions and may outweigh a potential reward.
- Market risk: Crypto prices can move quickly, including during the time needed to open and close a spot position.
- Reward uncertainty: A place on the leaderboard or a share of the maximum pool is not assured.
- Product availability: Stock trading may not be available to every user or in every jurisdiction.
- Security: Use strong account protection, including two-factor authentication, and verify that any event page is accessed through a legitimate Bybit domain.
Exchange Trading and Asset Security
Participating in an exchange competition requires keeping the assets needed for trading on the platform. For holdings not needed for active trading, users may also consider self-custody as part of a broader security plan.
A hardware wallet such as OneKey can help users manage supported assets while keeping private keys offline. Self-custody also comes with responsibility: users must protect their recovery information and independently verify network and address details before making a withdrawal.
The WSOT 2026 spot trading volume event runs for three weeks, but its headline prize pool should be weighed against costs, eligibility and market risk. The applicable event page remains the reference for final participation rules and reward details.
