OneKey Has No Affiliation with Digital Shield

Recently, users have told us that searches for "Digital Shield vs OneKey" return results — including AI-generated search summaries — describing Digital Shield as a rebranded, co-branded or licensed version of OneKey.

This is not true. We are publishing this statement to set the record straight.

Our position

1. OneKey has no relationship with Digital Shield. OneKey has never entered into any partnership, co-branding arrangement, white-label agreement, technology license or other business relationship with Digital Shield or the company behind it.
2. Digital Shield is using OneKey's software and firmware without authorization. OneKey has never granted Digital Shield any right to use, modify or distribute OneKey's software or device firmware.
3. Digital Shield is not a OneKey product. Its devices and apps are not designed, manufactured, reviewed, distributed or supported by OneKey. Any claim or suggestion that Digital Shield is an official, authorized, "localized" or "co-branded" OneKey product is false.

OneKey is open source so that anyone can audit and verify what runs on their wallet. Our code is published under the OneKey Standard Source License: everyone is welcome to read, audit and learn from it, but any commercial use of it requires OneKey's written permission.

Why this matters for your security

A hardware wallet is only as trustworthy as the chain from source code to the device in your hands. OneKey can stand behind the security of a device only when the firmware is built, signed and shipped by OneKey.

We cannot verify how Digital Shield builds, modifies or signs its firmware, how its devices are manufactured, or how its supply chain is controlled. OneKey cannot provide any security guarantee, firmware update, warranty or after-sales support for Digital Shield products.

If you are using a Digital Shield device, make your own judgment about the risks — especially before storing significant assets on it.

We will keep building in the open. OneKey reserves all rights to take further action, including legal action, to protect our users, our trademarks and our intellectual property.
