Hubble is a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol built on the Solana blockchain. Its core function is to facilitate the minting of USDH, a decentralized, crypto-backed stablecoin pegged to the US dollar. The protocol allows users to deposit a wide range of crypto assets as collateral to generate liquidity in the form of USDH. The mechanism for minting USDH is based on a Collateralized Debt Position (CDP) model. The Hubble Protocol is governed by holders of its native token, HBB. The HBB token serves dual purposes as both a governance and a utility token. Holders can stake HBB to participate in key decisions regarding the protocol's parameters and future development. In addition, staking HBB allows users to earn a share of the fees generated by the platform from minting and redemption activities, creating a potential yield-bearing opportunity. As a foundational element in the Solana DeFi ecosystem, USDH functions as a capital-efficient and censorship-resistant form of stable currency for trading, liquidity provision, and other decentralized applications.
