What Is DeGate

DeGate is a self-custodial multichain crypto wallet designed to bring core crypto activities into one interface. Instead of juggling multiple wallets, bridges, and DeFi apps, users can swap, send, earn, and hold assets, including tokenized stocks, from a single unified balance. DeGate is non-custodial: private keys stay with the user at all times, and no operator takes custody of funds.

DeGate originally operated as an order book decentralized exchange on its own Ethereum Layer 2 ZK-rollup. That product was sunset in June 2025, and the self-custody wallet, launched in December 2024, has been the project's sole product since. The DG token is the DeGate protocol token on Ethereum, part of the original protocol's governance, through which the community participates in decisions about the project's direction.
