Raydium is an automated market maker (AMM) and liquidity provider built on the Solana blockchain. Its core function is to facilitate fast and low-cost token swaps within the Solana ecosystem. A key architectural feature of Raydium is its integration with the central limit order book of the Serum decentralized exchange (DEX). This unique design allows Raydium to access liquidity from not only its own pools but also the entire Serum ecosystem, enabling users to achieve better trade execution and price discovery compared to isolated AMMs. The platform offers a suite of decentralized finance (DeFi) services. This platform is designed for new projects to conduct Initial DEX Offerings (IDOs) and raise capital on Solana. Participants can stake RAY tokens to gain eligibility for allocation in these token sales.
