I recommend getting this wallet.
I just set it up a couple days ago when I got it (which was 4 days after I ordered it,) and it's user-friendly. It's intuitive. It's open-source.
I like that it has a straight forward approach to it as far as being self-explanatory and simple to get going and having only 4 buttons to navigate with: power button, 'up' arrow button, 'down' arrow button, and 'enter' button.) Its mobile and desktop apps are neat and well presented. The device is sharply responsive. (I was concerned whether or not it was going to function well, but after handling and navigating through it, I can tell it's going to last me a very long time.) It's also definitely secure and privacy-oriented, especially due to its separate, secure element and being 100% open-source.
You can choose to generate either a 12, 18, or 24-word seed phrase (private key.) The wallet supports so many blockchains and altcoins (even lesser known altcoins) along with BTC, of course. You can operate and turn on the device without it being connected to anything unless you want to interact with the app, then you would have to connect your device using the cord they provide (which is a usb-c type on both ends,) whereas some hardware wallets won't turn on unless it's connected to a computer.
I'm very picky, and after doing research on a lot of hardware wallets, I found that this was the best one. There were other good ones, but some either didn't support certain cryptocurrencies, or they only supported BTC, or it was superfluously complex (as far as the user-interface and setting up go) and seemingly not intuitive, or they didn't simply generate a seed phrase (i.e. they had some other sophisticated process of generating a private key instead of simply just generating a seed phrase,) or they weren't completely open-source, or they had several/certain complaints over similar/certain issues, or the device had to be replaced every couple years, or I simply wasn't getting good vibes or wasn't overall content or satisfied with the research results, etc.
Seeing that this is a very quality hardware wallet and no has left a review, I figured I'd be the first in order to aid, to some extent, in one's decision-making.
I find that this is the best hardware wallet to-date. This is an up-and-coming company whose inception was last year in 2022. So, this is going to be a great alternative for a lot of people, eventually. Plus, Coinbase invested in them!
