WAN is a cute community-driven meme project inspired by Nong Wan, a female capybara born on June 22, 2026, at Khao Kheow Open Zoo in Chonburi Province, Thailand. On July 27, 2026, the zoo officially introduced her as the newest member of its capybara family.

The project transforms WAN into a playful internet character with her own growing universe. She may be seen cooking huge meals, working unusual jobs, racing with friends, creating social-media content, or getting into funny and unexpected situations. Although she is still young, WAN is hardworking, curious, brave, and always ready to try something new.

WAN represents positivity, determination, wholesome humor, and community creativity. Her adventures can be shared through memes, illustrations, short videos, stickers, and animations. Supporters can also contribute ideas, stories, costumes, and new adventures to help expand the WAN universe.
