The QAIT Association is a Swiss non-profit organization that governs the economic, trust, and compliance layer of the SEALCOIN ecosystem. It is responsible for the issuance and governance of the QAIT token, which functions as a programmable settlement mechanism for decentralized machine-to-machine and agent-to-agent transactions.

SEALCOIN provides the underlying decentralized infrastructure that enables connected devices, sensors, digital twins, robots, and autonomous AI agents to securely discover services, exchange data, and transact without centralized intermediaries. Through this architecture, machines can participate directly in digital marketplaces, consume services, provide resources, and exchange value in real time.

The QAIT Association oversees token economics, incentive structures, governance processes, compliance requirements, and the Proof-of-Security (PoSy) framework, supporting the secure participation of devices and ecosystem stakeholders.
